I am so ready for the weekend... this week has seemed so long! It does not help that we have not seen the sun in what seems like weeks. I love the rain, when it is actually raining, but I hate the humid cloudy yuck days that we have had so many of. But without those yuck days, we would not be thankful for the beautiful ones- oh the magnificance of His ways!
I found out today that my last day at my job will be three weeks from today. It is kind of bitter sweet. I really love the little girl I take care of, but I am looking forward to having a little break before I take care of our precious little one. I am going to find a job for a few months in Scottsdale, but more than likely it will not be as a nanny.
Today we went to the library for what is called Bounce Time. It is our Friday routine. I have gotten to know the moms there and made some friends. We have playdates sometimes, and I love that! I can't wait to do that with my kids. They were all very encouraging today as we talked about our new adventure to Scottsdale. They all thought that it would be a lot of fun. This afternoon we are going to take a picture with the Easter Bunny at the mall... think my job is hard???? It is a lot of fun most of the time, but I am sure like being a mom, there are a lot of times that it is very very hard!
I am looking forward to spending time with Michael this weekend. He has been gone all week, and just got in late last night. I am sure there will be some house projects going on, but I hope we can get a date in there somewhere.
I have had a so-so week.... most of my toilet hugging has been in the morning. I think I am just getting used to it. I am soooooooo tired, but other than that, I am doing well. I still have not gained any weight, but I know as I have been told that will come soon enough. My tummy, however, continues to grow :-) I feel pregnant, and it is fun!

11 Weeks
What is going on...
"Your fig-size baby is now fully formed — measuring 1 1/2 inches long and weighing in at a quarter of an ounce. His skin is still transparent, allowing many of his blood vessels to show through. Some of his bones are beginning to harden. His fingers and toes have separated, and he may soon be able to open and close his fists. He's already busy kicking and stretching, and his tiny movements are so fluid they look like water ballet. These movements will increase as his body grows and becomes more developed and functional. As your baby's diaphragm develops, he may also start getting the hiccups. Because he's still so small, you won't feel any of his aquatic workouts or intrauterine gulps for another month or so."
I was sitting in church on Saturday night during worship, and I thought... the baby has ears and maybe it can hear this sweet worship to our precious Jesus and is probably moving all around dancing. It is just soooooo amazing!

Special Little Surprise!
Emphasis on the "little." Oh yes, I am pregnant! I am 11 weeks today. Michael and I found out a while ago, but we were waiting to make our special announcement.

We are very excited! I am due October 14th. We were a little surprised at the quickness of it all, but we are thrilled as we prayed the God bless us when the time was right. We feel extremely blessed! It has been a rough month with morning sickness- side note... it should not be called that because it does not just happen in the morning! But, when I think about what is going on in my body, I am just in awe. We heard the little heart beat two weeks ago, and it was the most precious sound ever. Another little heart is beating inside me- how amazing is that!? We even saw the baby moving around like crazy! Here is a picture from our last visit at 9 weeks, 2 days...

The Kersey baby! Can you believe it? Right now, I am feeling good. My doctor gave me some medicine that has helped me hold food and water down, but I am trying not to take it unless I am miserable. I can tell I am starting to feel better, so hopefully in the next few weeks it will pass. My tummy is getting bigger, and although most other people can't tell, I sure can :-) We ask for your prayers as we plan the move to Scottsdale and start our precious family. We will keep you posted! Much love! This is a picture of my belly at 10 weeks :-)

Scottsdale Update
We enjoyed our time last weekend in Scottsdale, even though it was a record breaking 100 degrees both days we were there. Yes, 100 degrees in March- it will be a long summer! We looked at some areas that we might want to live in, and a few houses to get an idea of what we are looking at in our range. Michael will be out there again next week and will look at some more then. I liked a couple of the houses, but it will take some getting used to- it is very different! I did really enjoy Scottsdale. It was a fun place and we ate some great food, thanks to King and Amy! We had a great time hanging out with Michael's cousin,
King, and his wife, Amy, and baby, London. I am excited to get to know them better when we move! Thats it for now! Much love!

Scottsdale
Michael and I are finally going to Scottsdale this weekend! We plan on looking at some houses, but I hope to relax a bit also. We have been so crazy busy lately, and I am ready for a little break. We still don't know the exact move date- could be the end of April or sometime in May. Being that I am a planner, it has been a bit difficult, but I trust that God will move us at just the right time.
Mr. and Mrs. Jason Weems
Congratulations to hailey and Jason! They were married on Saturday, March 10. We had a wonderful time celebrating with them and are so excited for them! hailey was one of my college roomies (we still refer to each other as roomies), and Jason was a good friend of ours in college. Well, he became more than friends with Hailey soon after graduation! :-) It was a lot of fun to see some old Baylor friends, and get down on the dance floor. The ceremony was perfect, and hailey, of course, looked gorgeous. Congrats you guys! We are so happy for you and pray many blessing on your marriage!
